Use Your Ladder as a Place to Store and Save Space

Jun 28th, 2010 Posted in Uncategorized | no comment »

Ladder as a Place to Store and Save SpaceOn many occasions we decided to make a second floor in our house or buy in a place where there is already a second story and the truth is that putting the ladder we are wasting a huge place that you could use for something else and a bit annoying, especially if you live in a small space and have many things.

We then choose the terrible spiral stairs are very uncomfortable, but, they take up little space. To raise and lower is awful too. Ideally, then have a regular ladder but using the bottom. With a good design can do, so you and your staircase or you sent to do, you can create a ladder to climb up and down and to store and after the jump will give you some evidence and ideas of how to do it.

Stairs and drawers. This is a good idea for those who are creating a new staircase or for those who already have one installed at home. Each step in the bottom drawer becomes spending all the dead space underneath. As seen in this place there is little space and is the only way to make storage area.

Passages. These two ideas are good for different things. The first is for someone who has the stairs, because it is a good solution to fix the side stand and create storage areas that run along the floor and go and come without problems. From the outside would not be nothing. The second is a staircase that goes up and down, so it must be built well and in the back hides another small room. I prefer the first idea, because I think it would be a bit dangerous for kids and adults that ladder that moves.

Stairs and library. This idea may have seen it because it has a lot of laps on the internet, but I think that is a favorite. It is too simple to do, but it is best to make it from scratch. You do not need no drawers or anything, just space below each step to put the books. The idea is wonderful for book lovers with limited space, at least I could use.

Stairs and drawers of different types. This definitely should be built and can thus be used for a wide but thin. What it does is that it is sliding in and out creating these four drawers and the last three are like a drawer because they have more space was down, so you have a larger storage space. Now that’s a more complicated design to accomplish.

Stairs as cubes. This ladder works by making each step a hollow cube so that the inside is a place to put things. The same ideas but implemented in different ways and the storage location is on one side, which makes it better because enough space to put down even more. What I do not like is that the stairs are too high, so each step would be to raise half uncomfortable.

The stairs storage easier.
These are the best for those who already have a normal and common stairs in your house, because you think you need size drawers and send them to install on one side. Done.

There is only one solution: make the most of the gaps that we take for lost: under the beds, which often incorporate drawers for that purpose, and of course, the staircase.

One of the more practical uses that we can give to our locker room is like, especially if the ladder is against a wall.

If the gap is large, we can entrust ourselves or install a custom door and will be the perfect place to put the cleaning tools not ever know where to hide or even having a shelves on the inside, we can install a pantry, extending and the kitchen storage.

Another practical solution is to buy large cylinders and use them as tables covering them with a beautiful tablecloth, no one will know that there are your things, I keep to clothing, are decorative and help you save space in closets.
