Wine is a drink that has the preference of many people, who like to stock up on a good selection of it. But the storage of wine requires some care so that it reaches the table in the best conditions. This is where you want to keep the wine for some time, if taken immediately; the kitchen is a good place to save it.

The care of wines requires a range of storage conditions that we must obey in order to preserve their properties be kept in the dark, because light can cause oxidation or deterioration. The storage temperature should not exceed 18 º C. It should be stored horizontally so the cork is kept damp at all times, without breaking and thus facilitating the smooth passage of oxygen. Because of all these factors, it is advisable to store the wines in the refrigerator or the kitchen, it is not the best option, keep them in a special refrigerator in which they are sold, but we can build a warehouse in our own home.

Our warehouse does not have to be large or occupy the basement, but we can do it under a ladder, in a small room in use, or in a cupboard acclimated. But if you have a basement, it’s much better. We must also bear in mind that the winery should be colorful and decorative; it can not ruin the decoration of the house.

Winery Features:

For the preservation of wines, the winery must take into account the temperature, humidity, darkness, lack of odor impregnating or intense, and the rest of the wines. For these conditions, the most appropriate place to locate the store will be underground or semi-buried. It can never be a garage or a workshop, due to the presence of odors and vibrations that occur at these sites.

This may not seem an important detail, the orientation of the cave is. The ideal orientation is the north and the sun does not directly impact the temperature changes involved, and the worst is its opposite, south. The ideal place is underground or semi-buried. The ventilation is very important too, can be achieved through a duct to the outside or through a shunt. The walls must make a perfect thermal and acoustic insulation. The interior walls should be painted white and covered with cement plaster and yodel. Insulation systems are applied that may be of fiberglass or polyurethane foam. The soil must have hygrometric properties, so it is advisable to do so with a material capable of absorbing moisture, such as porous ceramic tiles. But the ideals are rammed earth and sand. This type of champagne is very difficult to achieve due to cost and space requirements.

For a winery located in an apartment, avoid the kitchen, the dining room or living room due to odors, temperature and noise. Therefore we will select an interior room or hallway, where we will build a small bottle with insulation.

Our warehouse must maintain certain storage conditions:
- Stable temperature between 10 and 15 º C.
- The daily fluctuation of the temperature should not exceed 2 ° C.
- The relative humidity should be in the vicinity of 70%.
- The bottles are stored horizontally.
- The racks should be wood or materials not conduct heat.
- The light should be avoided by using carbon-filament lamps or indirect cold lights.
- There should be no foreign odors such as paint, fruit, cooking odors, sausage, etc.
- Avoid noise and vibration damage for wines.
- It is necessary to air and ventilate the place where wines are stored.

We must remember that white wines in general, pink, the champagne and sparkling wines, fine wines and chamomile, young wines and some reds, can not be stored for more than a year, because his life is short. Reserve wines are those that reach the greatest length and can reach twenty.

This style began to use curved lines in big pieces like cabinets with drawers or comfortable. The chairs had high backs carved complex, replacing part of the grid-upholstery and trim. French Baroque furniture differs from the rest of Europe, for its elegance and further elaboration.

The decoration of dining rooms with baroque furniture is of great importance because it is the room where most activities take place is the room where they receive friends and family gatherings take place. Baroque furniture characterizes this as crowded environment, providing gracious and warm, solid and attractive furnishings.

Making space in the decoration of dining rooms:

The progressive reduction of living space is looking for a special effect in the decoration of dining rooms where the furniture should make the best use of the space available. One way to renovate the hall is to combine some new furniture baroque existing furniture.

Comfort is very important, so we will give utmost importance to the functionality, so that we can do a combination of Baroque style furniture and furnishings.

One way to gain space in the dining room is to change old oversized furniture for several colored light modules, which allow taking the corners off.

For the dining room tables include baroque with richly carved legs, accompanied by large high-backed chairs. It is also the tables with iron fasteners and turned legs. The windows with glass cases of the dust guard tableware and ornamental pieces. Chests, wardrobes and trunks of pine furniture are to complement the dining room.

It is very common to find furniture where hardwoods are mixed richly worked with other materials, like ivory, bronzes, among others. In the decoration of these columns are used furniture torso, twisted, curved pediments and arches. Bench chairs, small size and folding stools allow us to include small seats in the room’s baroque style today.

I love the month of August. I get this feeling of excitement and I tend to smile a little more. I am gearing up for the fall sport watching season on my directv channels in North Carolina. My husband and I are staunch supporters of the Atlanta Falcons football team. Our three small children can name players on the team. They also enjoy jumping up and down when our team scores a touchdown or gets an interception. My youngest son has been walking around carrying his football for the past week. Every even when my husband comes home from work and tosses the ball with him. We love hosting Sunday night football parties at our house. We send the kids to bed a little early and then we have a great time cheering on our favorite team. It is nice to be able to share the love of the game with friends and family. My husband and I buy new Falcon’s jerseys every year. We are excited to see what Matt Ryan and Michael Turner are going to do about taking our team all the way to the Superbowl. If the entire team can stay healthy this year, we will definitely make the playoffs.

This is getting corseted environments in which the decoration of the dining room, commonly, it revolved around furniture that went from floor to ceiling. Today, these units still exist but are becoming less common and wood, in most cases leads to materials such as plasterboard.

But the decoration is being increasingly adapted to the consumer who demands a functional house that could be modified and adapted to any situation. Sofas that stretch became beds, tables that stick to the wall to make room for a party, portable TVs that let you change the movie theater to another room or containers that are grouped or split to our taste for all these cases what is the most comfortable? for without doubt the most convenient for situations where you need a mobile decoration is to opt for furniture with wheels.

The wheels can now easily buy and apply to all furniture, but we also have a wide range of designs that can be found in stores with the wheels and integrated. Or the basis for pots or planters fitted with wheels, ideal for the silver of great weight or size.

Do not lose sight of this type of furniture, because besides being very functional, it also allow us to create a mobile decoration that helps to adapt our home to different situations that occur in it.

Until a few years, not many, collecting furniture and recycle trash looked pretty crappy, but today, however, this has become a hobby. Parts of a car, antique chairs, tables without a leg … any item that is minimally full and we offer a service which we lack now is a good option.

And once collected and brought home what? Well this is where the most interesting part begins: the reconstruction of furniture and customizing it to integrate the environment in your home or business.

Have you noticed that in tiny shops or showrooms of clothing or accessories have opted to seek original furniture in the trash? And although they have different styles, have been standardized by giving them the same painting or similar finish. This idea also for businesses is also very interesting for low budget rooms for small or home offices.

If you want to renovate your home but do not have much money, you know, join the rush looking for recycling or restoring furniture or objects that can be converted into something useful.

There is nothing more appealing for your home that outdoor furniture, even though exposure to the always-changing climate may deteriorate it faster than any other furniture.

Whether you are the owner of outdoor furniture or a buyer willing to get some items for your garden or yard, there are a few rules that you must keep in mind to prolong both the useful life of furniture and it’s appearance.

Outdoor furniture is usually expensive and hard to replace on a yearly basis so make sure to give it proper cleaning and care according to the instructions included by the manufacturer.

However, many people purchase second hand furniture that does not always include a cleaning guide or in the best of the cases, such direction are lost overtime. There is nothing to worry about because cleaning and maintenance of outdoor furniture is easy.

The first rule is keep the manufacturer’s instructions in a safe place, but if you have lost the information, keep in mind that almost all outdoor furniture can be cleaned with soap and water.

Aluminum furniture resists rust and water, but it needs frequent washings to be kept in good shape. Heavy furniture and some outdoor structures may require a pressure washer, although, they should be used at the lower setting.

Hammocks should be taken down if your do not use them on a daily or weekly basis and stored under a protected storage area. Regardless of the material, hammocks are decolorized by sunlight, shrink by continuous rains, and the fibers deteriorate by other climate changes.

Wash them with detergent and water, rinsing well with cold water and let it dry in the sun before placing the hammock back in their frame. Furniture with fabric or acrylic cushions should also be washed in same manner, periodically.

Umbrellas usually require some attention after being in storage for a long time. Wash their covers and keep frame joints well oiled. If you have one of those costly umbrellas with a wooden-frame, a paste wax can help you for maintenance and shine preservation.

If you have furniture made of plastic resin, a simple cleaning routine will be enough since this material is extremely durable and the only one that is weather resistant. Even though it is weather resistant discoloration or yellowing may occur after continuous sun exposure.

Clean your plastic resin furniture with a cloth or sponge dipped in waster with a non-abrasive all purpose cleaner or glass cleaner. If there is not much dirt or dust accumulated, wiping gently is usually enough.

Finally, if you have outdoor-wooden furniture pay attention to the coat, making sure it has an exterior-grade varnish that supports weather and cleaners. Use soapy water for cleaning, rinse with a wet cloth, and dry immediately, making sure to store this furniture indoors during winter.

If you are looking to insure your home, it can be hard to work out how much insurance you need. Obviously you don’t want to pay too much for your insurance, but not having enough cover can be a problem if anything should go wrong. So what is the right level of home insurance to have? Here are some factors you should consider before making your decision:

Go for 100%

Although how much insurance you need depends on your financial situation, you should try and insure your home for 100% of its value, including the contents. This means that if anything really bad happens to your home the cost of putting it back to exactly how it was will be covered. This is more expensive than just setting an amount that your home should be covered for, but gives you the peace of mind that everything will be replaced with no depreciation. However, before deciding the amount of cover you need you should ask yourself a number of questions:

How much will it cost to protect my property?

Work out how much it will cost to replace everything in your property right now, and how much this level of cover will cost. If you cannot afford this level of cover then remove things that are non-essential from the policy.

Inflation protection

If you are insuring your property it is important to have inflation protection. If you don’t then the amount you receive for damages could be less than you need. If your policy doesn’t automatically include this then review it once a year to make sure you are properly covered.

Home improvements

If you make home improvements then you should make sure that your policy is up to date and covers these new additions. If you don’t then any damage will mean you lose the money you spent on the improvements.

Specialist coverage

If you live in an area that has specific problems, such as flooding, then you need to make sure you are covered for these items. Although it may cost you more if these things are big risks where you live then they are perhaps the most important things to be covered for.

Renting your property

If you rent your property to others then you need to have additional insurance to cover yourself for liability and medical problems should anyone be injured in the property. You will also need additional cover for the property itself and your belongings.

If you live in an apartment

If you live in an apartment, then the building itself is covered by the landlord’s insurance, although your property and liability are unlikely to be covered. You should have insurance on the items that you own in the rental property.

Keep an inventory

Whatever level of insurance you have, make sure that you keep an inventory of everything that you own and its value. If there are any problems then you can use this list to show exactly how much you are covered for. Although the amount of cover you get depends on your circumstances, you should always try and get as close to 100% cover as you can.

It would surprise you to know how many homes have all the latest in technological gadgetry, yet have failed to insure the contents of their home against the event of either a burglary or damage. If you want to protect your personal property, you need to be insuring your personal property with a home contents insurance.

What To Insure

You can arrange to insure any (or all) of the contents of your home under a home contents insurance policy. Nevertheless, if you have any personal belongings in your home over a certain ? value, then you should be discussing these with your home insurance provider – as in most cases property over a certain value needs to be declared independently (and, in certain cases, such as with expensive diamond engagement rings, they may need to be insured independently).

Itemise Your Possessions

Once you have decided that you want to purchase home contents insurance you need to take an inventory of your home, itemising all of the possessions in the home. A really good tip here is not to move all of your possession into one room and then itemise them, but to go from room to room doing this. This way, your inventory will be broken-down into rooms, should damage or theft occur only to a part of the home. Better yet, you should try to walk through your home with a video camera videoing all of the possessions in that room. You can then keep a copy of the video with the inventory. However, if you do not have a video camera, still-camera photographs of your possessions is better than taking no photographic evidence at all.

How To Value Your Possessions

It is vital that you remember that home contents insurance is insurance against the replacement value of the item that was lost, stolen or damaged. It does not take into consideration any nostalgic value. Therefore, if you have expensive personal property in your home, you should arrange to have these independently valued – preferably by an insurance approved valuer – and a copy of the valuation receipt should be kept with the insurance policy. The value of the other items in your home can either be assessed by the price it cost you to purchase them; or, better, by taking a trip down to the local shops and seeing how much each of the items would cost you to buy – as this is the amount you’ll be paid if the item is lost/damaged.

How To Arrange The Home Contents Insurance

Once you have valued and itemised the possessions you want to insure you can then log onto the internet and get some online home contents insurance quotes based on the value and possessions you want to have insured under the insurance policy.

What Will The Insurance Premium Cover

Ordinarily the insurance policy will cover you in the event that the possession insured is lost, stolen or damaged. Damage in this case can be the cause of a natural event, such as a bad storm or flooding, or a because of a boiler bursting. You should also read your policy carefully, as some home contents insurance policies cover items which are lost outside of the home – for example, if you are transporting them in the car.

If you want durability in window coverings, aluminum blinds will give you the peace of mind you crave. They do give you the special ambiance you want for every room of your home and you can color coordinate the blinds with the decor. Aluminum blinds are manufactured with this in mind as well as the fact that people want something that will last. When you purchase blinds, you have a choice of vertical blinds, mini blinds and Venetian blinds in the aluminum line. Aluminum blinds look just as good in a formal dining room as they do to the window of a rec room in the basement.

Although aluminum blinds are more expensive than vinyl, they are cheaper than wooden blinds. You can have aluminum mini blinds with a 1 inch slat or aluminum Venetian blinds with slats 2 or 3 inches wide. If you shop at Hunter Douglas for aluminum window blinds, you will have 129 colors to choose from and several different levels of privacy. If you just want reduced light, then you can have aluminum material in blinds that will permit some light to come through, while blocking the glare. You can also have these blinds in styles that give you complete privacy when you have them lowered.

You don’t have to worry about not being able to put aluminum blinds to specialty cut windows. You can easily have aluminum mini blinds made to order to fit bay and corner windows and even arched or round windows. Along with using the standard cord to raise and lower aluminum Venetian and mini blinds, you can also have a battery operated tilt feature to the blinds. This feature is wireless, which makes installation of the blinds relatively easy. The motor is quiet, yet powerful and the 6 channel remote control can operate up to 6 window blinds as long as they are within 50 feet of the control.

Aluminum blinds offer good energy efficiency. Blinds with this rating resist heat loss through the window during cold seasons, yet provide the shade you need when the sun’s blinds rays are strongest. With aluminum mini blinds and Venetian blinds you can also order for your windows with a high rating for UV absorption as well as forming a sound barrier. If you need to cover large windows, the Venetian blinds with the larger aluminum slats are the best ones to use. The steel head rail is rolled so that when the blinds are raised they are hidden within the head rail, although you can set them at any level on the window.

The color choices in the line of aluminum blinds include solids, metallic and matte, which has a low gloss finish. These mini blinds and Venetian blinds provide the perfect dressing for any window. Install them within the confines of the window facings so you have the wood of the window exposed or use them with toppers and valances for a coordinated look. Whatever look you wish to achieve in a room, aluminum blinds will help you do it.

Silhouette blinds are characterized by their ability to let some natural light shine through the window even when the blinds are closed. Two of the best known manufacturers of Silhouette blinds are Hunter Douglas and Levolor. Homeowners prefer using Silhouettes as the window coverings for their homes because they combine the best of mini blinds and cellular shades. With Silhouette blinds, your windows will look elegant whether you have the blinds open or closed.

With Silhouette blinds, the soft fabric of the blinds lets the sunlight filter through. You can rotate the slats to whatever angle you wish to have the shade you need for yourself and your furniture. Even though light can come through Silhouette window blinds, anyone outside the window cannot see in through them. Therefore, Silhouettes by Hunter Douglas give you the privacy and the light that you need.

When you raise Silhouette blinds, they are fully enclosed within the head rail. This gives you a wide open window with no blinds in your way. You can lower the Silhouette window blinds to different levels or have them all the way down. There are many choices in fabric color for the slats of the Silhouettes by Hunter Douglas. The window blinds themselves also come in different sizes and if you have a window of an irregular shape, Hunter Douglas can make the Silhouette blind specifically for your window.

When you buy Silhouette blinds from Hunter Douglas, you can choose the type of material you want in your blinds. Choose from Silhouettes by Hunter Douglas in crinkle textured fabric, bold colored sheers or maybe the linen texture will be more to your liking. One interesting feature of Silhouette window blinds is the top down/bottom up feature. You can have these blinds open at the top of the window and down to the bottom if you wish, which is really a different look in window blinds.

There are several different systems you can use for raising or lowering Silhouette blinds. The traditional cord loop is available in Silhouettes by Hunter Douglas, but you can also get these as motorized window blinds. A simple touch of a button will raise or lower the blind, as well as rotate the slats to the exact angle that you want. Silhouette blinds block the UV rays of the sun up to 99% when the vanes are closed and 63% when they are open.
