When it comes to remodeling your home, don’t forget to think about the different things that you can do with the flooring. While a fresh coat of paint can revitalize the spirit of any room, redoing the floors can really establish a mood. Although carpets can be very comfortable, you may also want to look into hardwood decking. This gives your home an elegant, clean look with floors that reflect light. Many wooden floors are very easy to form and install and are manufactured with a low rate of thermal expansion and contraction, which means that they will not prematurely degrade because of heat or moisture. Along the same lines as hardwood decking, plastic paneling offers several benefits, many of which make it better than wooden alternatives. For example, plastic does not require sealants or waterproofing, which makes it ideal for kitchens and dining rooms, but also for back patios and menageries. Similarly, it doesn’t split or warp, shrink or swell because it is not affected by the elements like wood is. Also, plastic is nearly impervious to rot and insects. Many companies manufacture their plastic panels out of recycled materials, too, which means that it is also good for the environment. There are also hardwood decking alternatives that are made from a combination of materials, like hardwood fibers and ultra-tough polyethylene. This allows the newest developments in indoor and outdoor flooring to be very resilient. Not only will you the comprehensive benefits of both wood and plastic, but you can find these materials in several different colors and lengths, while still remaining UV resistant. You can even have them cut to curved planks and add optional luminous strips to improve quality at night, for instance. Of course, they are also relatively affordable when compared to your other home décor options so you should definitely look into it.

Over time, wood floors are damaged and tarnished. However, with good polished and an appropriate procedure in a few steps, wooden floors and parquet flooring damaged or scratched can be easily recovered, reaching very good results.
The first instance at the time of recovery and renewal of a wood floor is the cleaning. At this point you should empty the room to be renovated. It should remove all the elements are there, pieces of furniture, curtains and carpets, as well as the tapes of the bases, by using a chisel.
In turn, they have to hide all the nails protruding from the ground, prior to thorough cleaning of the part using a vacuum cleaner over the entire surface. Then the surface can be sanded wooden floor if required, but only enough to restore.
Give damaged floor shine
Before we can fully restore the damaged floor, we recommend creating a complete sanding of the piece. Using an orbital sander, seek the total elimination of previous paint until the wood floor is opaque.
At the time of use of the sander, you may be required several passes, depending on this type of material directly from the soil. In the event that the apartment is of boards, we recommend sanding parallel to the direction of the boards. If has parquet or mosaic decorations should be sanded diagonally to the direction of the fiber.
After sanding, you should have cleaned up the room, before applying the glaze. The coats of varnish should be performed regularly, starting from the light, in order to identify bugs. After a few hours, sand the floor again with a size of 120 sanders. Then clean the whole floor again, before returning to pass a new coat of varnish.

Balance
When creating balance, there are two ways to proceed. The first is the symmetrical design, where everything is perfectly balanced. With the symmetrical design should be two units of each object or must have a mirror effect that play. For example, there may be a chair in exactly the opposite of another that is the same. While this creates balance, also can make a room look static and lacks visual interest or energy. Experienced designers use to create this interest asymmetry. The objects are balanced either because they are judged on their visual weight, not if a partner or not. For example, you may have a large sofa from one side of the room that will be balanced by two large chairs with a table in the middle and a lamp behind. These pieces visually balance the effect of the sofa, even though they have neither the size nor the same way. The design works because there is no balance in the asymmetry of the furniture.
Contrast
Imagine entering a white room that has white carpets and white furniture. It would be most boring. The contrast helps move the eye around the room through the clever use of color. Good use of color creates energy while using various muted tones creates a complementary manner calm. The more contrast can create, the easier it is to the human eye to understand the design claimed in the room, visually moving from one space to another, guided by the use of color and contrast.
