The discipline of Feng Shui starts with the idea that the place it occupies in the universe depends on the relationship between personal energy and the nature or the environment that surrounds each person, so that human actions should be guided to maintain the balance between man and nature.

The principles of Feng Shui and the five main elements help balance the energy of the house and its inhabitants. No wonder a person feels good and evil on a ranch in the next. The goal of Feng Shui is to decode this intimate relationship between man and his environment, affecting their emotional balance. To do this, there are several theories as the ‘Jin and Yang’ or of ‘The Five Elements “(Earth, Metal, Water, Wood and Fire). Ultimately, Feng Shui shows the path towards personal energy balance and habitat, home or office, with the laws of nature to live in harmony with it. How you can learn to handle personal problems, developing an optimum potential.

The origins of the discipline
Feng Shui was born in China in Yantzne River region over 3,000 years ago, caused by topography, flooding the river and producing northerly winds that forced the inhabitants to protect themselves from the effects caused by nature the territory. This theory was transmitted from generation to generation but due to the complication, it takes years of study with a teacher to learn. Feng Shui theories are based on logical concepts arising from causes and effects of natural order. The articulation of East and West has been that these theories are widely accepted and respected, being widely used today.

The technique
All human beings are affected by their surroundings, whether a building structure, color, light, or the makings of a cabinet. All these elements can directly affect the emotional health of individuals. Feng Shui is a language of symbols that interprets the shape of a house, the position of a mirror or a bed and its relationship with the mood of people. In short, is a way of harmonizing the life of man and nature, promises no radical changes, but small improvements that will enhance the quality of life of those applying it. There are four trends in the practice of Feng Shui School Forms is based on the study of environment in the form of the house and decorate objects. Meanwhile, Buddhist School focuses on the driveway and create a chart called Ba Gua for analysis, while the School of Eight Omens uses the compass and, occasionally, the theory of Five Elements. Finally, the School of the 24 stars using the compass, the environment, the construction date and the Five Elements to develop its analysis. This is probably the most developed school and his technique is best applied.

The elements used by this technique correspond to the sacred elements that should feature in a house and that the ancients called ‘the five activities’.
