Laminate flooring comes from Europe, which has been used in homes for over 20 years. It consists of the union of four components. A decorative paper joins the layers of wood through melamine resin. After you add a layer of aluminum oxide to protect from the elements outside. Laminate flooring is placed on top of an existing surface, in no case is made, but below the surface of the subject. The different layers of wood are joined together by a specially formulated adhesive and water resistant which is placed between the slots on each plate. Most sheets are rectangular in shape though, you can also find circular.
Care sheets
Laminate flooring can remain in perfect condition for a long time if cared for following these simple tips.
Pass the vacuum using gentle brushing supplements. Pass a mop when needed to shine. Although these soils are very resilient, may scratch easily so we recommend you put guards to the legs of the chairs and tables and all furniture that can grate on the floor. If you are moving heavy objects across the floor, put special care and placed mats on the entrances of the house to remove their shoes any aggressive elements. There are some products you should not use on laminate floors such as waxes or polishing products. Similarly, you should not use wool fiber sponges and other abrasive cleaners.
Repairs
We have already mentioned how easy it can be a laminate floor grate. If these scratches are minor, you can use the same color marker to mitigate it. But if the scratch is deep, the only way to disguise it with varnish.
If the damage is severe soil, the blade can be replaced without destroying the rest of the floor. There are special tools, but in this case do you recommend, if you are not very small hands, you leave it in the hands of a professional.
